Nikolas Kallithrakas was born in Athens, Greece
on 29 April 1999.
The moment he had his first drum lesson at the age of nine, his fate was sealed - he knew he was destined to be a drummer.
He dedicated himself to continuously improving his music skills, taking exams at the National Conservatory of Athens (Ethniko Odeio) every year and, at 14, started piano lessons in his bid to become an all-rounded musician. By 18, Nikolas had also completed his Rockschool exams, passing Grade 8 with Distinction, and had been awarded three National Conservatory of Greece drumming scholarship.
Despite his young age, Nikolas has a rich experience of live performances. Since 2011, he has taken to the stage at a wide range of gigs and festivals including Schoolwave, Athens School Festival, and the Nakas Band Festival. He was the founding member and drummer for “Black Stars” (2012) and drummer for “Bazzinga” (2013-2017), who released their debit EP “This Is Now” in 2016. He has also collaborated with other artists like Dimitra Galani, Giorgos Xyndas, Ioannis Kourtis, Spyros Katrivanos, Vaggelis Moulakakis and Konstantinos Tourlis.
Nikolas is currently studying Popular Music and Recording at the University of Salford (Manchester, UK), for which he was awarded a scholarship in 2018.
